The coat is too thin to wear in the cold weather. The design is nice but the fit was off.

I got this coat in black. It looks great. The collar is my favorite feature. It can be buttoned very high, or left down. Either way, it is adorable. This coat is a great value. It looks very expensive and goes with everything. I wear it to work with dress clothes and out at night with jeans! The coat is also very warm. The winters here are cold and this coat keeps me warm. It fits great!!

while the cut of this coat is flattering and the red is a usable deep cherry red, the quality is not what i expected for a MICHAEL coat. there are a lot of hanging threads and sloppy stitching on mine, and it's also cut a little lopsided. it seems like an "imperfect". the wool is 80% wool and 20% nylon and very thin, as other reviewers said. there's only a thin polyester lining in the same color. nothing special. the cut is slimming, though, and as others said, go up one size from your gap or jcrew size. it also didn't help that my coat arrived rumpled up in a box that wasn't a good size for the coat. a steaming will help, if i decide to keep it. still looking.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas..... she has designer taste on a college kid's budget. She absolutely loves this coat and is thrilled to have a designer coat to show off to her friends.

This is a great coat with great appearance and quality for the price. To be a Michael Kors coat, the price is great. This is not a coat for the blistering cold, its more a coat for a chilly day. The wool is smooth with good quality but not great for snow weather. No regrets with this purchase what so ever. I've gotten plenty complements on this peacoat with the tall collar and cute tailoring.

I needed a classic black peacoat, and this one fit the bill perfectly. I was very pleased when it arrived: the material is excellent quality, as is the stitching and fit. I usually wear a size S coat, so I was about to get a 2, but they ran out so I ordered a 4 instead. I'm relieved because with the 4 I have ample room to wear a wool sweater without feeling uncomfortable in the coat. Based on this, I would say the coat runs a bit small, so go one size up if you want to be able to layer. I also love the button-up collar! It adds a nice unique detail without taking away the classic look of the coat. I highly recommend!

I'm happy with the coat but disappointed that one of the buttons fell off after only the first wear. It's also a little thinner than I expected so I'm not sure how warm it will keep me.

I would recommend this coat to anyone. It fits great and looks very classy!
