I purchase both the black and tan Micheal Kors trench coat Color: The black trench is Jet Black, the tan is not a light tan as shown in picture, its a very dark (Army fatigue) Khaki Texture: Water repellent, stiff fabric Length: Above the knees I'm 5'4 Style: Stiff collar, Bungee Cord drawstring hood Price: forty-five Size: Purchase XL for my bust, it's a little snug, but my chest is a 36dd , but it fits well, just not enough room for many layers. Description: I would have loved for the black trench to have tortoise shell brown buttons instead of the black buttons, but these coat is nice, its more of a rain-trench, instead of a trench coat, the difference is that a rain trench coat is made entirely of water repellent material where-as a regular style trench coat is made from cotton and has water repellent properties, but will absorb water over time, so it's more for style (looks) then for actual rainy days. I purchase both the black and tan trench coat, the black trench has a shine like a water repellent coat does, which I could do with out, also its doesn't have the texture I was looking for since it's not made out of a high cotton content its looks and Feel like a rain coat: shine with a water repellent texture, not soft, very stiff. There's a hood but it seems like its for style rather than function since it just makes it over my head, it will not keep out much rain if I did use it only for rainy day, also the drawstring is a bungee-type draw-string, the description did not describe what type of drawstring this coat had, I dislike bungee-cord drawstrings since they are infamous for breaking, snapping, or stop working altogether. A pull down drawstring would work better. The collar on my black trench wont stay don't I have to constantly pull it down when I use my hood, or it'll pop back up and have a "pop collar look".The tan MK trench is very dark khaki very manly army fatigue tan, not like the bright tan shown online, I like the buttons and wish I could keep this one, but the color is not want I wanted, I wanted a brighter tan, or a classic muted khaki, this tan is very dark.

According to sizing I should get a small but I got the xs and it fits perfect! Great material and quality . Hood detachable as well as inside wool lining . Great quality!

I do like the material of this coat, however, the sizing is way too big for me. Maybe it's because the cutting. It will suit better for you if you do like loose designs for your coat!

The coat met my expectations and then some. Sizing is true as the medium fit perfectly. I'm 5 ft 6 and my dress size is 8 to 10. My only complaint is the waist strap is a bit long. The pockets are nice and the lining is a soft flannel. Overall, a very nice designer trench for the price.

I loved this coat! When I went back to order the black all of them were out of stock so I am waiting for more to come in. What else could a trench coat have. I am 5'2" approx 140 lbs. got the xl and it fit like a dream. The hood and liner are removable so it is an almost all year round coat. Loved that you can tie the belt or buckle it. The buttons are just the right touch. This is the PERFECT trench coat that I have been looking for. Thanks again Overstock.com.

I love the wool lining in this coat. Its never going to go out of style. The color is nice as well. On the imagine shown it looks like it wud be too small as i m petite, but it fits nicely, it comes up to mid thigh.

I would recomend this trench to everyone. I own a couple of michael kors coats and the style is classic that it will never go out of style. The material was a surprise but I especially love the hood for a rainy day. Get this item well worth the sale price plus more.

Nice looking, good quality short trench jacket. Perfect for misty weather and looks nice for wearing to work. The dangling button did not impact the overall score.
