had a really hard time to get them on, the size is right, and once you get them on you will like them, but they are really hard to get on, Really!!!! Right at the ankle they get really tight, you would think since there is a baggy part there it would be easy, but its not.

I read the reviews on this shoe before I bought them. There were some reviews about the ankles of the boots being tight, but since I am small and slim I thought I would have no problems. That was not true. I can get them on but they are tight and hard to get off due to the tightness. You cant wear them with pants because they are too tight to tuck in and too bucky exterior to put over. The shoe itself looks great and with a little more room I would have loved them.

I bought these boots for my daughter but she could not get her foot past the narrow ankle section. She loved the look so I ordered a larger size for her. I am wearing the original pair and once past the narrow ankle the size seems to be accurate. They are very good quality boots and comfortable but the sizing is unusual.

Very tight at the ankles. No zippers or buttons. Takes 10 minutes to shimmy them on.

I wore these in Utah in March and they held up well and looked cute w/jeans tucked in. Size is true; kind of hard to get into at first but they will give after a few wears. The wedge is high enough so your feet stay dry if walking in slush, nice traction in snow. I had thick socks on and they were comfortable.

Gorgeous!!! My daughter wore these throughout the winter and they are just lovely and of good quality. They are warm and only became too wet from the snow a couple of times.

I bought these boots to wear to Rome on vacation for a week. After the first day of walking a plastic piece came out of the bottom trim, by the second day it had torn all the way around the heal and was sticking out so I had to remove it. I walked in them for 10 or more hours a day all over the city and they stayed fairly comfortable. I also didn't have any trouble getting them on or off. They seemed to wear out too fast tho.

I love the look of the boot, but I can not get my foot into them and I tried to give them to a friend with smaller feet and she could not get her foot beyond the ankle area either. I'm so disappointed that I can not get my foot into them. Wish the ankle area was much wider than it is.

Good to look at - not worn yet. Seems good value for $$. TIGHT to get on, but then comfortable.

Love these boots! Was worried because some reviews said they were hard to get on. But I have small ankles and they go on easily. A perfect fit, no slipping in the heal area. very comfortable and attractive. Can't wait for winter!

Very cute boots but much heavier than I expected and really tight around my ankles so they are hard to get on since there is no zipper. Quality was poor as the boots actually got a rip in them on the first day I wore them and the rip has continued to get bigger. The rip is along the white fuzzy lining on the outside. I bought them to wear on my trip to South Africa so I was in Cape Town when I first wore them and so will not be able to return them as I don't get back for a while. Oh well. I say you should buy a different pair.

I ordered a pair of the brown boots and got my order really fast for standard shipping. The price is good, the quality is good, and it fits to size (so don't go for a larger size). I heard people had problems getting the boot on, but I had no problems at all. However, I can tell if you have a large ankle and/or calves it can be a struggle.

I thought these boots were super cute! They do fit true to size, but i listened to other reviews that said they ran small, now there 1/2 size too big!! Don't buy if you have bigger ankles or they won't fit.

I recently purchased these boots in brown and love them! Great price and very comfortable. I experienced only one problem with them...when they scuff, some of the man-made suede came off. Otherwise, great purchase.

looks and comfort excellent but tops are too narrow for getting on and off ,especially getting on. The price was right.

I wasn't sure what to think when I read the reviews, but I liked the price of these boots so I ordered them. I had no problem at all getting the boots on. My foot slipped right in and I found the foot to be a little wide. I would say though that they run true to size in the length. I added an insole to snug them up a little. I am a petite person, 5'2" and 110 lbs. I hope this helps anyone trying to figure out what size to order. The style is very cute as well.

These boots are really nice and I am very pleased with this purchase. I read all of the reviews and as stated the boots are very snug at the ankles but that was fine for me. If your ankles are larger these are not the boots for you. They are very warm and fashionable and I am enjoying them. Even my daughter thought they were very cute.

It's a great and stylish looking boots. But if you have big calves like me, you feel like your legs are being strangled.
