I recently bought these boots in the mushroom color and could not be happier! The suede is supple, the style is 'oh so current', and the fit is wonderful! I got such a great deal on these at Overstock so I love them even more! I researched these boots and found them for about 3x what I paid for them here. These are a beautiful addition to my boots wardrobe, and to say that I am "pleased" would be an understatement. I will be shopping for more boots on Overstock as I love boots to begin with, and living in Alaska makes it a wardrobe essential!
When I found out the only color that was available was mushroom I wasn't going to buy the boot. I fell in love with the style, so I decided to go for it and I am sooo glad that I did! This boot is comfey and awesome!! The color is sort of a tanish grey, very unique, but it goes well with most of my outfits and skin tone. I think if they had more colors I would buy each one of them!
The MIA Gelato Women's Wedge Boots are truly great. I got them in the mushroom color and love them. It is hard to find shoes/boots in unique colors and these are great. They seem comfortable and yes, the wedge is quite high. Someone said that the calf is very wide and I have to disagree - it is wider than other boots I own but it's not that wide. The fabric doesn't strech so it must be wider but it fits my calves perfectly. Now, I do have strong athletic calves so that's another issue.
Overall, I love the boots and cannot waint till the fall to wear them with a nice skirt or a pair of jeans.
Oh, one more thing, your feet will look tiny because of the wedge so make sure you are okay with that.
These boots were exactly as I thought they would be. I love them. They fit great and the suede looked great. Color is as exactly as it appears on website (I got the Mushroom color). As always, I will continue to shop with Overstock.
I was so excited to get these boots in, based on everyones ratings. I just received them today and they are adorable boots and VERY comfortable (for the 5 minutes I had them on), but they were a lil scuffed when I got them, so I was a lil disappointed in the condition of the suede. Unfortunately, I will be returning them.
