WAY too much
I got these shoes as a gift and in the tan color. The color is very very pretty and the material looks very nice (it does look like it will stain easily with water, though). That is about as far as the compliments go. There is ZERO ankle support and because the boots are slouchy there is no support in the material as well. The heel is plastic and makes a cheap sounding *click* noise on tile/wood/concrete flooring. The platform is also plastic and there is hardly any traction. The heel is just a bit too high for me. The ankle kicks in on the back and after wearing them once around the house my ankle was starting to hurt. Falling over would be just a matter of "when" for me. For reference I am 5'2 and 100 pounds and the boot came up to the very bottom of my knee cap -- a bit too high for my taste. But tucked into a pair of Banana skinny jeans they zipped up fine, albeit a bit tight...and I have skinny calves.

Velvet
I ordered these thinking they were suede. When they arrived, I found that they were actually velvet material. The boot itself is super nice and very sexy, but I did not want velvet. I returned them.

A must Buy!!!
I really like the boots, however they are a little to big. I wear a size 8 and I ordered a size 8. I have to wear thick socks with them. I'd like to send them back and get a size 71/2
