I really wanted to love these jeans. Organic, good for the environment, very dark wash -- all pluses in my book. But maybe it was too organic?? The material is rough, perhaps this will change with more washes and wear, but for now, its rough. On the flip side its nice and thick so I know it will last. It says it has 1% of some elastic fiber in it but i just don't feel it. There's no give, so imagine actual jeans pre-stretchy material. Definitely not those sexy going out on the town jeans. the lack of stretch makes their appearance a bit boxy/squarish, they don't hug curves well. but they definitely have that casual weekend jean vibe going on. they hit very low on the waist. I generally wear a 25 but without the stretch i went with a 26 and it fits perfectly!

I was extremely pleased with my purchase. I had no problems with my order and received it in a timely and organized manner. My only issue is that the jeans were way too long. I'm 5'4" and these went all the way past my toes! I had to get them hemmed, but the cost of hemming and the extremely reduced price together were still far below the original retail value. Organic cotton at an affordable price is really hard to find. The pair I purchased originally was of a lighter wash, but I liked the fit so well that I purchased it in this darker shade. I know it will be completely worth it.

Initially, I bought these jeans in a retail store while on holidays. I love these jeans but I had gained a bit of weight so they are kinda snug now. I googled the brand and found Overstock and I was thrilled!! They carried the same jeans at a small fraction of the cost of retail. I received the jeans and knew immediately they were not the style that is advertised...the style I received was Prophecy...the jean is not as nice as the Kharma style but I will keep them because they are so affordable and a 9/10. I reordered the Kharma jeans again today and I have my fingers crossed that I will get the right pair of jeans this time.

I was excited about buying these organic cotton jeans, but they were extremely uncomfortable! The material was stiff, and, combined with the fact that the wash was kind of weirdly shiny, the pants looked rather cheap. I don't know why these sell for $100+ retail!Normally I wear I size 27, but I ended up keeping the a size 28 and a size 29, so it does run surprisingly small. I'm keeping them because they look decent, though not as good as I expected, and because the price was so reduced that it really is a good deal. But I definitely would not have bought these pants full price.
