Lovely
Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this dress tho is DEFINITELY is meant for cooler weather as the knit is quite heavy. Yes, it IS winter WHITE and as such, will need to have appropriate undergarments in place to not have them show thru.... I'm actually thinking about having mine lined to avoid the whole issue of trying to find a full length slip that isn't going to ALSO show thru/bind/etc. Think the offset that I got from buying off-season will be worth the little extra cost. Actually got a "oh-gee-WOW!" from my friend who critiquies my wardrobe but it was too warm THEN to wear it... now that it's gotten chilly again, I'm about ready to try my regular slip and wear it anyway! If you are on the fence, give it a try... think you too will be pleasantly surprised! I am 5'4", weigh between 163 and 167 lbs w/ a bust of between 36 B/C ... weight is proportioned so not really an apple/pear/lemon/whatever but do have some "back fat" right now due to being on Prednisone. Hope this helped.

Winter White See Through
I wanted to like this sweater dress. The style and fit were perfect. And when I first looked in the mirror I was quite excited. Until I spun around a few times and realized that the winter white is just much too see-through to not wear a full slip.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? True to color - I just didn't want to have to wear a slip under it.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality of the sweater itself is good - and perhaps in any other color it's probably fabulous.
- How accurate was the sizing? Sizing was great. I am 5'2" and the medium fit perfectly just barely above the knee.

I am addicted to sweater dresses
I have ordered 4 of the 6 sweater dresses I own from Overstock. The London Times line seem to be the most substantial in terms of construction and also the most consistently best fitting. I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly without clinging to the wrong lady lumps. i was a little mislead by the stated length as 37.5 inches normally hits me at mid-calf,this is just above the knee(I'm 5 foot 2 and about 135 pounds). All in all, another winner from the O!
