This skirt is beautiful. However, I first ordered a medium, which I always wear in pull-on skirts or pants. I couldn't even pull the waist up over my thighs, and my thighs are slender! I figured the problem is that only the back of the waistband is elasticized, so...I ordered another one, in size L., with the same result! It doesn't even seem any different from the medium. The waistband would probably fit fine if I could get it on. Please know, this is not a vanity issue! Couldn't pull it over my head or up mylegs, so I guess the second one has to go back unless I decide to cut the waistband. What a shame, as the colors are so pretty.

totally agree with the other reviewer: the items is ways too small. I'm size 4-6 (so should be the upper range of small), after reading the other review I decided to order a Large. I can barely fit it over my hips. Once it's on, it's comfortable and pretty, but my...in any other skirt I could wrap a large around myself twice. This barely barely fits. Just like the other reviewer said - this is not about vanity - the sizing really is ridiculously small.
