I was tearing my hair out looking for a Red Riding Hood costume for my little girl this Halloween. All the ones I found were either cheap looking or sold out months before Halloween (and cost 70 or 75 dollars). Then I found this one. It looked cute and I was hoping it would be a decent costume. Shipping was super fast. And when the costume arrived, I was so happy that it not only met, but exceeded my expectations. My daughter is 3 1/2 and wears anywhere between 4x, 5x, XS, or even S depending on the clothes. We bought the small to be safe (rather have it too big than too small), and it fit her great. So if your girl is between sizes, go for the larger one. To give you an idea of the quality...it has a zipper in the back! Not those stupid ties or velcro like most costumes are these days. Regular satiny material, not flimsy or thin. Another plus for me was the long sleeves. We usually have cold weather here on Halloween, so I wanted to be able to put a long sleeve shirt on underneath her costume. Most Red Riding Hood costumes have short sleeves and a long sleeve shirt would stick out. Not a problem with this costume. Worked out great. The hooded cape is just cute, cute, cute! You will not be disappointed buying this one.

Ita nice that its a full dress so the costume comes complete instead of in pieces. And the hooded cape tops off the whole look just like the story.

The sizing is small. My daughter is very tall and skinny, but she was 3 yrs and 10 months and this was very tight. Most of her clothes are 4-5. Kinda cheaply made for the price
