Wow, This Came Fast!
My coat was ordered on Saturday, shipped on Monday and delivered on Tuesday. Go Overstock! I ordered a medium and it appears to be well constructed, is very lightweight, yet warm. The size matches the normal sizing for women's clothing (i.e. medium is the same as 8-10). I have somewhat broad shoulders and yet this is quite comfortable and roomy in the shoulder area and the sleeves come down to the same place as on the model, about mid, outstretched hand. I am 5ft 3 1/2 in. and the coat comes to my knees. Wool usually makes me itch but I was hoping that this coat had enough of a blend that it wouldn't bother me and after trying it on for about 10 min, no itch. The lining of the coat is a similar, silk looking, plum color as the outer shell. The back has an 11 1/4 in. split that is held together by a simple cross stitch that can be easily snipped. Over all (so far) I'm loving new purchase. I have tried to be as exact in my review as possible because I hate it when I am trying to purchase something and the reviews are so skimpy that it is really kind of difficult to make a well informed decision.

Great Buy!
I was very satisfied with my purchase. The color was a deep purple and material was soft with a nice lining. This was a great purchase for the price. Could not find anything even close to this coat in a local department store.

Beautiful coat but large in shoulders and arm
I normally wear a size 12 or 14, so I ordered a large. It fits okay but does seem to run slightly big -- though I think a medium would have been too small for me. I can easily move the buttons to make the chest area tighter, but the arms and shoulder areas of the coat are quite big and bulky. The shoulder pads (didn't those go out in the 80s?) are too big and kind of make me feel a bit like Al Capone -- especially when I sit down and the coat bunches upwards, making the shoulder pads even more visible. Hopefully I can remove them, and the coat will fit better (though that will require me to cut the lining of the coat). It is a gorgeous color, though -- and this is the main reason I'm going the keep the coat. Also, I guess the wide sleeves will leave ample room for wearing bulky sweaters underneath, since the coat itself is only medium-weight and not warm enough for Switzerland's winters. The purple color is slightly brighter (especially in the sunlight) than it is here in the picture. I was hoping it would be a bit more muted, but it is still a lovely shade of purple, which I would describe more as "plum" than "prune."

Love it! Good value & attractive
LOVE,Love, Love this coat! It fits perfectly, loose enought to easily fit over a sweater but fitted enough to be flattering. It's a nice medium/heavy weight and very warm. I was looking for a longer length so my tunic length sweaters didn't stick out the bottom. This coat is perfect.

A great coat. Nicely made.Nicely priced. Great fit! I have received many compliments on this coat. I only gave it 4 stars though because it does tend to pick up lint.

Great coat!
I ordered many coats to try on and this one was a keeper for a mid-length everyday coat. I ordered a medium and exchanged it for a small. I am very pleased. The color is a bit muted, which I like. I didn't want a boring black coat and last year I had a brown coat. This color felt right and the quality was superior especially for such a great price.
