  • lighter than I thought

    This coat is nice looking, but I was surprised, it was lighter weight than I am used to in warm winter coats. I live in NY where it gets very cold, so I sent it back for a 100% wool coat instead.

  • really nice coat

    I had been looking for a coat to replace my 2003-bought Larry Levine. Basically, I wanted the exact same coat I already had... I found this coat at Macy's in red and tried it on for size, then looked online to see if I could fine the coat (or another Larry Levine) in black. This coat is great. It isn't as long as I hoped (old coat went to my knees, this one is between mid-thigh and knee), but I still like it. I am giving it a 4-star review because the 2nd button is a little difficult to fasten/unfasten due to the seam that runs right across the button hole. However, I reall ylike the style and coat overall.

  • Lovely coat.

    I love this coat. The blue is lovely, and I like that it has black buttons. I have never bought anything from Larry Levine before but I am very happy with this beautiful coat.

    • Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very good quality.
    • How accurate was the sizing? Good. The shoulder were a little big for me (but that's usually the case so it was no surprise). Took it to a tailor and had them taken in a bit and now it's perfect.

  • Cheap buttons on a nice coat

    I bought a very similar style Larry Levine coat in black a few years ago, which fit perfectly. I bought the same size for this coat, and the fit is quite different. This one is big in the shoulders (squared) and tight in the chest. Also, the buttons are very cheap looking(which I could not discern from the online photos). I really hoped this would work out, but it had to be returned.

  • Too big

    I ordered a 14 based on another Larry Levine coat I have that ran small and the 14 was great. This must run more true to size because it was quite big and has to be returned. I wasn't crazy about the buttons, either. I'll look for something else to order.
