Nice Coat...Wrong Size
I read all of the reviews before purchasing this coat and was lead to believe that the sizing runs small, and I should order one size larger than my natural size. I was extremely disappointed to find that the Size 8 I ordered was too LARGE and I really needed a Smaller Size 6. I love the coat, but find that returning this item is going to cost almost eight dollars, and I'm not able to do an exchange. There are limited coats left in my size, so it saddens me that my actual size may very well sell out before my credit card is refunded. This is a real bummer.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Love the deep eggplant color.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Nice lining, buttons, button holes,color,etc--Looks sturdy, yet feminine.
- How accurate was the sizing? I ordered a size 8, due to the multiple reviews stating that the coat runs a size too small. I got just the opposite. I ordered the size 8 but needed the Size 6!

Pretty in Purple during Winter
The quality of the coat is very good. It's warm and comfortable. My only suggestion is that it could have had a little more room in the upper part of the coat (from the breasts around to the back). I was able to get a good fit due to reading other reviews. I ordered a size larger.

Great quality - Tight fit in shoulders and arms
This coat was very good quality and had a nice feminine cut. However, it runs runs about 1 size small. Also, it was a very tight fit in the shoulders and arms. I'm a big woman - 5"10 large frame... so this might be better suited for a different body type.. you should still go up a size. I had to return.

Great Coat
This is a beautiful coat, at a wonderful price. Fits very nicely. Runs a little small. Buyer is a size 4, but purchased this in a size 6 - perfect fit!!! Probably not suitable for extreme cold, but is fine for winter in Atlanta, and London.

Beautiful coat
This is a well-made coat. Good for layering and keeps one reasonably warm although not through the peak of winter in say, the northeast. The color is beautiful and it goes well with black or brown pants! I would recommend!

Gorgeoous Gorgeous Too Small Gorgeous
The hardest part about ordering clothing online is guess-timating if a size that fits you, and that you wear regularly, by other manufacturers will also fit with the item you want to order. I think the best thing for Overstock (and all online retailers) to do in order to assure steady sales and fewer returns (shipping fees are beginning to curtail my online buying, whether the fee is from the retailer or for a Return) would be to post the EXACT measurements of each-and-every item featured on its site. For example, this goregous coat cost me over $10 just to try on. Fair enough, I guess; if you want online convenience, you have to pay for it. I wear a size 6 in the type of coat this gorgeous Larry Levine Eggplant came in. I had no reason to think a size 8 wouldn't fit. It not only didn't fit, it was sausage-arm tight. But who knows? Maybe the size 6 I wear currently was inflated. See, this is the problem with ordering online. So I suppose if you're a very slender person who wears a size 6 consistently, this coat will fit you just fine.

Not as cute as I had hoped for
Overall, I would say the quality of the jacket is nice, especially for the price. As I said the color is beautiful. I ordered a size too large for me so it didn't fit me. But even if it had fit, I just didn't care of the collar, the cut or the huge buttons. I ended up returning it.

Lovely warm winter jacket
This coat fits snugly around the shoulders, so consider this if you are broad shouldered. I live in Western Australia. We consider a freezing, cold day to be 10 degrees celsius (50F), and this coat suits our Mediterranean type climate in winter. It is warm, but not too heavy. I am a petite triangle shape and this coat is really very flattering. I am 163cm (5 3in) and 58kg (128 p). I chose a Size 4. Perfect! I am generally an Australian Size 8.
