i have a narrow foot with a high instep. The length was almost too long (I wear a 7 or 7.5 typically). But it was workable. The main problem was getting my foot into the boots. Maybe if you have flat feet or very low instep these might work for you. I had a very difficult time getting my foot into the boot. I finally was able to do so but I just did not think it was a proper fit if I had to struggle so much. Once my foot was in the boot it was plenty wide enough I would say a wide b or narrow c in regular shoes. In addition, the length was almost too long. However, the toe is pointed so unless you foot is pointy you probably need the length in this type of boot. I was disappointed because of the instep issue. I weigh a hundred lbs and am 5'2" tall with a sort of narrow foot.
I bought these boots on the sale price and am absolutely delighted. They are even more striking than in the photo. VERY well made boot with a little extra cushion in heel area that I wasn't expecting. I live in the 'Cowboy Capital' of Canada where cowboy boots are a given. To get something like this I would probably pay dearly - IF you can find them. True to a good boot, they were comfy right from the get go. Wore them out stomping the first nite and my feet were Ok. I was worried about the 'snip' toe as sometimes it adds length to your foot when the toe is squared. Not so with this excellent style. I look forward to purchasing more Lane Boots from Overstock.
