balaclava
This was a gift for my son who works outdoors in the winter. He liked that it covered his head but he can still wear a cap or hardhat with it. I liked that it had a little vent for breathing. The fabric is soft and appeared like it would be effective against the cold. Arrived as scheduled, and in time for Christmas even though I ordered it within the week before.

Quality Item, however...
It's a great material, very sweat resistant but it's very small, I know it's a one size fits all but really they are designed for full grown men and we had to stretch this one over a halloween pumpkin bucket to loosen it, due to the material it will take several weeks to strech it to a useable size.

Not what I expected
Purchased this for an upcoming trip to Antarctica. It should work ok to keep face and neck warm, but I didn't realize the upper part that fits on your head is not fleece but is a thin polyester "sock". Will need to wear a hat with this for warmth. I guess this was designed for wearing with a helmet - not exactly what I had in mind.
