Before purchasing this slim-fit suit, keep in mind the differences from traditional suits. The pants have a lower rise and a slightly shorter length. The waist and legs feature a narrower cut. Slim-fit suit coats have a narrower lapel, higher gorge (or notch), lower button stance, smaller shoulder pads, and overall a shorter length.

Great tux, but order your proper size
My shoulders and height (6' 2") make me a 40L, but I'm otherwise very skinny so I needed the slim cut. when I was reading the other reviews they said to size up, which I initially did by ordering a 41L, and the suit was too big. I realized, in hindsight, by sizing up I invalidated the whole point of a slim cut. After an AMAZING customer service call they sent me my 40L, the size I should've ordered from the beginning, immediately. In essence, if you're skinny and normally wear things that are on the slimmer side, stick with your normal suit size and you'll be happy. My 40L came with 34" waist pants that feel more like 33" which is perfect.

not so slim
i chose this tux hoping that the slim fit would show off some of the poundage i have dropped recently. i'm not a big guy, about average. i need a 44R. which comes with size 38 pants. out of the box the suit did not offer any type of slim fit. it did a weird poof near the mid section and the pants were way to big. i was still super stoked to wear it because the thing is well made an and pretty badass. a trip to the tailor and she took the sides of the jacket in, and adjusted the seat and waist of the pants. sixty bucks with tip. i didnt expect a tailored look buying online. i had hoped the slim fit design would look better than my other suits, and it does after some work. love this suit.

You get what you pay for
I guess I shouldn't have really expected so much from an $80 tux, but all the rest of the reviews were so good. When it came in the mail it was incredibly wrinkled which isn't a huge surprise but still a pain because dry cleaning bills wouldn't be cheap. The fabric is a polyester blend, not wool like higher end tuxedos and the fabric feels and looks pretty substandard. I'm 6'3 205lbs and usually wear 34" pants so I ordered the 44R. The size 38 pants actually fit fairly well and would have needed minimal tailoring but the jacket was a mess. Its not so much slim fit as it is severely tapered in the waist and then blows out again in the hips. The large double back vent doesn't help with this at all. Bottom line is between the poor cut and the cheap fabric I definitely wouldn't recommend this tux to anyone unless they were on an incredibly tight budget.

Very nice tux. I wore it for my wedding. The alterations cost almost as much as the suit, LOL. Slim fit is the in-style and I recommend it to any buyer.

The fit was great right out of the box. Had it altered to be absolutely perfect. The alterations lady commented on how nice the fabric is. Well, well worth the price.
