Not What I Expected
If you are thinking about getting this shoe, I recommend ordering a half to full size smaller than your usual size. I am a true 6 1/2 and a 6 1/2 in this shoe was way way way too big. The quality seemed decent, there is adequate padding and they seemed like they would be very comfortable. I am not going to exchange my pair for a smaller size just because I decided that this style is not for me. The heel on this shoe gives it a little to much of a 17th century vibe for my personal taste. I'm not sure if this shoe is real leather or not, but it definitely smells fake. The smell was over powering when I opened the box, however I think it would fade pretty quickly after you wear them in. This shoes is definitely worth the $50-$60, but I would not pay much more for a shoe that is not genuine leather.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? They are very shiny black patent-just like the description/photo
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. I can see what another reviewer was saying about a "cheap fake leather smell" but over all the quality seemed very good, much better than the Steven Madden loafer
- How accurate was the sizing? Very off, I probably needed a whole size smaller then the marked size.
