When I first bought this coat there weren't any reviews on it, so I was taking a chance. Now that I've put it to the test for about 3 months I can say that I really love this coat. It really is very eye-catching and unique, especially with all the buttons. I took it with me on a trip to Paris over the holidays and it even got looks and compliments from our fashion-forward friends over there. Unfortunately, that's also where I lost my first button, which I had to replace with the single extra button that comes with the coat. Ah, yes, the buttons. Do yourself a favor and go get some heavy duty black thread and a good needle. This isn't something you do with the emergency sewing kit you keep in your bag--you need that extra heavy thread. The key is to sew all all the way through the coat; as purchased, the thread is just going through the top layer and not all the way through. Put on a movie or something and sit down with your needle, heavy thread and your new coat, and reinforce those buttons. There are a lot of buttons, so it'll take a while. But trust me it will be worth the effort when you can wear your lovely new coat with confidence that the buttons aren't going to go flying off. It's been pretty frigid here in Chicago this winter, and I'm very pleased with my coat. I bought a medium and found it to fit a little larger than expected, but this works out great for me because it fits well over my sweaters. It's also nice and long (I'm not particularly tall anyway) and keeps my legs warm. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars, since a truly excellent product wouldn't have the button issue. I still love it, though, and do recommend!
The coat is lovely and fits true to size. My only issue is that I've had to re-attach a couple of the buttons. They easily get caught on seatbelts and shoulder straps (they protrude a bit) and have been easily pulled off. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase.
Received the coat, looks great, love the style, material is good. It seems to runa little large perhaps, but I already wore it on a trip to NYC and it was great. Think I saw the same coat in a store after mine arrived and price was comparable to what I paid here.
I had to have this coat....truly stylish and sophisticated and without a doubt attention grabber. Everytime I wear it, the compliments are non-stop (men and women). I did have to reinforce the buttons (all of them) but never the less, this is still a 5 star coat! Luv it, luv it, absolutely luv it! Thank you OS, keep up the great work!
its everything i wanted in an overcoat..excellent rating for all areas..
I adore this coat. The fit is excellent, true to size. The quality in the fabric, very good. Looks really smart and sophisticated. The only thing I was not pleased with...the buttons! way too big and shiny for this coat.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!! This is a gorgeous coat, fits perfect, very classy and sophisticated and well worth the clearance price. I've worn it once and received numerous compliments. I am a very pleased customer and will continue to shop. Thank you for a wonderful shopping experience!
I love the looks of this coat, but I didn't like the buttons. Everyone said the buttons fall off, so rather than secure them, I just replaced them with some cool silver ones (There are 20 of them.). The label in my coat also says JLO. It fits perfectly and is almost too heavy for Texas weather. I will probably only wear it a few times a year, but the styling is something I have wanted for a long time, so it is worth it to me.
This coat is so chic you will absolutely love it!!! And, it is also warm and comfortable and looks great with any outfit. You can't go wrong with this coat and the pricing.
The item came wth small openning in the left pocket, needed detailed quality inspection. It, also, should come with 2 extra buttons.
i have enjoyed everything rhat i have purchased. i would recommend everyone to this company. the prices atr great and the mercgandise is excellent.i would continue to shop.
Before I purchased the coat I looked at so many other websites and brands because the coat was a little more than I am use to paying for a coat. After receiving it and wearing it for the first time, I loved it! It is so warm and stylist. I would recommend this coat to everyone. It is worth the price I paid for it.
Excellent coat, beautiful stiching. I reinforced the buttons on the coat as previous reviews recommended...and there are a lot of buttons! Well made coat, part of the collar wasn't fully pressed but it is just a small quibble. It's very unique coat and great vaue for money!
This is a great coat, but arrived much larger than I thought it would. I ordered an XL because my large coats are a bit small in the bust, and this coat is about 2 sizes too big. I am going to try to tailor it down since I got a good deal and cannot do an exchange, but I get the feeling it will never be quite right. It is very pretty, and a good weight and length for a winter coat in my climate.
The best winter coat I have purchased in years... it is excellent quality and a great price
I bought this coat for my teenage daughter, she loves it! All her friends think it is fabulous....and very stylish. We still need to reinforce the buttons though....according to other reviewers, they fall off easily. It was a little on the expensive side....for a medium weight winter coat. I would have expected it to be a little heavier for the price. We are both happy with the purchase!
Love this coat. It is a quality, classic style. One of the reviews I read before purchasing the coat stated the label read "JLo" not "Justsweet". The coat I received is a JLo. Regardless, it is great. Fits true to size. A couple other reviews I read prior to purchase stated that the buttons tended to come of easily, so I just reinforced them, as suggested. I recommend this coat highly.
I bougtht this coat for my daughter as a Christmas gift. I love the coat but most important is that she will be so surprised on Christmas morning. The construction of the coat is done well. after reading other reviews I will secure the buttons before it is worn. I was disappointed at the weight of the coat. We live in WI and I was hoping my daughter could wear it over the winter but I do not think it will be warm enough for our climate. It will be fine on a fall or early spring day or an unseasonably warm winter day
I just received my coat today and, as mentioned, the label says JLo instead of Justsweet. But that may be a good thing, because at least I've heard of JLo before. The coat looks great (except I don't really like the strap on the back due to it's slight "bowtie" shape that causes the corners of it to stick out, and I don't know why they made it removable). On my 5'6" frame the bottom hem hangs about 12" from the floor, and the coat is fully lined. When I saw the close up photos of the buttons, I thought they had some sort of pleather trim, but it's actually a satin trim. The O description states "decorative faux pockets", but this is not accurate. The FLAPS are fake, but there are two functional, though flimsy, pockets on the front of the coat. The wool material is what I'd call medium weight, which is fine for me as Georgia winters aren't very cold. In fact, it may be a while before I get a chance to wear mine since the temps haven't fallen here yet. But that's good because it gives me time to reinforce the buttons as others have recommended. The buttons are very lightweight, but with their bubbled shape you really have to work them in/out of the buttonholes, so I can see how they'd fall off easily. I may even replace all the buttons (20) with something else, because their bubbly shape and hollow plastic construction makes them seem toy-like. Even if they don't fall off, the "gunmetal finish" looks like some sort of paint that will flake or peel off with repeated use. This coat lost points with me in the "Value" section because of all the modifications I'll have to do to it, but it's still a stylish, good looking coat that is different from the typical winter coats that I see here.
I read a lot of the reviews before I bought this coat, so I reinforced the buttons before I wore it. The fit was perfect - and I usually have problems with sleeve length because I have long arms. It's not going to be heavy enough for a real Minnesota winter without some layers under it though. The coat was exactly as pictured, but the label read JLo, not Justsweet. I'm not sure what that was about, but it didn't matter. Got tons of compliments the first time I wore it. Everybody loved it, including my fashion-conscious 20-year-old son. His comment was, "Do they make a guy's coat?"
