Junior Drake 'Annette' Leather Satchel

I ordered both blue and yellow. I really like this style purse but usually I get frustrated with digging though a black hole to find anything. That is not a problem with this purse. There is a nice size flap opening and two angled zipper compartments on front and a good size back slip pocket , whch handle most of my usual purse digs so I don't even have to open the main compartment. IMy large sunglasses fit nicely in the ceter flap area) If there is something that I do need in the center area, the zipper opens completely leaving the area visually accessable. Love that! The leather is very soft with that strong leather smell. The hardware rings have the name Junior Drake stamped on them and the bottom of bag has gold feet. I like to see that attention to detail. The front clasp lifts up and snaps down to keep things secure. Not sure yet if I'm a fan of that or not but it is a bit unique and I aways like that. Time will tell. The lining is nice and there is one zippered compartment inside. (no slip pockets on other side as most purses but with all the outside pockets, it's not really needed) The purse came shipped in a bag with no stuffing and was pretty compressed. At first I didn't think I liked it. Once I fluffed it up by stuffing it and putting in a sealed pillow case, then in the dryer for a bit, it was fine. I placed a piece of cardboard on the bottom to flatten that out too. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was the colors weren't as shown. The blue is still nice, but nearly a navy. My screen shows a much brighter blue, maybe yours is fine. Will go nice with jeans. The yellow is a dark mustard yellow. My screen showed a soft yellow which I was really hoping for. This mustard won't go with anything I own and to me, it's not a pretty color I'd like to pop and show off so it's going back. The drop isn't very big, but still fits on my shoulder and I'm not petite so should be ok unless you're in maybe a 1x and above. (I'm guessing of course, everyone is different) Well, hope this helps you make up your mind on this purse.

• How accurate was the sizing? I didn't measure it, but the size looks about what I was expecting from measurements given. Not too big and definitely not small
