bought as a formal black belt, works for nice belt, no frills but functional

I bought two belts 2 months ago and they are both broken. The metal clip on the belt buckle snapped on one and the leather snapped on the other.

As I unrolled the belt from the package, the words "made in china of man made materials" appeared embossed in the back of the belt. Neither the Italian quality nor the leather I expected. Not worth the trouble to send back, but not a good deal.

Great quality and appearance. Well made, true sizing.

The color "burgundy" turned out to be a dark brown.

Mr. needed a simple yet stylish belt he could wear with both jeans and suits...this is the one! Clean lines, nice workmanship and it's Abboud! Can't go wrong with dat!
