I really liked this dress. My only problem was that the sequined embellishmet located on the side of the dress just below the left bosom was covered when the jacket was on. I would leave the jacket on, too, because the straps on the dress are a bit more than spaghetti ones, and being a heavy woman anyway, I don't want to expose that part of myself. I really wish the jacket didn't cover the sequined design.

When I open the package I could not believe my eyes, this dress was so beautiful and the color was perfect. My size is a 22 but in some name brand styles I can wear a 20 and this dress is a perfect 20 on me I just love this dress and if you order it you will be pleased it fits so nice form top to the bottom. I needed a formal dress to wear to my son's wedding in March 2012. I ordered the dress in Navy, and the color and style were perfect. The size I ordered was an 18w (according to the measurement chart), but it was too large through the chest and waist area for me, so I think a size 16w might have worked. I then decided I wanted a dress with sleeves, because I didn't feel comfortable with my shoulders and back being exposed if I removed the jacket. I returned it and did not order it in a smaller size. Also, the embellishment on the front is off-centered and was covered when worn with the jacket, as was mentioned in another review.

I ordered this to wear to a wedding. The fabric is much prettier in person than in the photos. It has just enough shimmer to make it look special. I'm 5'5" and it ran a bit long on me. I am short waisted and had to shorten the straps, and was able to wear it this way; so it would be beautiful on a taller person. The jacket is nice. The dress is lined and very well made.
