Comparing the photo/illustration with the actual received dress was a disappointment. Dress looked cheap. Quality comparable to bargain basement store. Will return it.

The dress was not what I hoped for. The material was cheap. It was uncomfortable and scratchy. Not my best purchase at Overstock. Sending it back.

Great dress, well made, comfortable. The full skirt is enhanced by an attached crynoline underneath. Very glamorous 1940's style.

I fell in love with this dress on-line and loved it even more when I wore it. The style is classic Grace Kelley. I received many compliments on the dress. It fit beautifully and looked elegant. The fitted waist gives way to a flattering skirt thus providing a nice slim appearance. Since I wore this dress to a late afternoon wedding/reception in August, I found the sleeve length and fabric just right during the hot, humid weather. I just brought the dress to the cleaners and look forward to wearing it again for an upcoming gala.

I was hesitant to purchase this dress as it wasn't as much of a bargain as I am used to. It kept drawing me back, however, so I decided to go ahead and order it, thinking it wouldn't be as good as it looked on screen and I could always return it. Well, I was wrong! This dress is so cute! It has a very retro look to it, especially the collar and the cuffed sleeves. It is very comfortable thanks to the stretch. I guess I didn't read the description well because I was surprised by the stretch material. At first I thought it would look cheesy, but not at all! You can't really tell it is stretchy when it is on anyway. I can't wait to wear this to my west coast swing dance club's holiday party with some vintage rhinestone jewelry. A very cool dress!My only complaint is the packaging. They had it jammed so tight in the shipping envelope that the plastic protecting the dress pulled off as soon as I opened it. I cut open 1/2 inch of the shipping envelope and almost cut into the dress, so use caution when opening. It also arrives pretty wrinkled so be sure to allow enough time to air it out and steam or iron it before wearing.

This dress is simply beautiful... I love it! You just cannot ask for more!

I ordered a size 12 dress. It was a little tight. I must be a size 14. That's okay. I'm in the process of losing weight. I kept the dress. It's very pretty, and heavy. I'll wear it in the fall.

I bought this dress to wear on a cruise for cocktail parties. It is lovely! I love it!
