I bought this and a much nicer Joseph Abboud. Took them to the tailor and he confirmed my thoughts. The J Banks Suit is decent for the money and will last a long time / is well made.... BUT the fit is not at the level of a nicer suit. I typically don't require any tailoring in the jacket but this one really needed significant alterations to look "it's best". Specifiaclly, the shoulders and shape are off. The tailor would've needed to take the whole jacket apart and rebuild it, the cost would've been beyond the suits cost. Still, it looks quite acceptable with minor alterations ($45 dollars worth). I'll keep the suit and wear it, but not to an important meeting.All in all, a decent "B" level suit at a bargain price.

ok, so I was aprehensive about the suit for the price. I was surprised to see this quality tailoring for the cost, The material is really nice and the fit for the jacket is perfect. The pants is where this suit comes up short. btw I returned the suit... the pants have a double pleat wich means extra wide around the hip. I am a size 46R. The pants look too baggy around the waist . I mean my wife said you look like M.C Hammer...so the suit had to go back. it is a great suit dont get me wrong but if you dont need the extra room in the waist then look for either a single pleat or flat front pants...I wish you can narrow down the search field by pant type...!!!

Bought the suit about a 10 days ago. Considering the economy we are in, the suit had a good price. I Had the pants tailored and wore the suit last night to a wedding. I looked sharp. Thanks Overstock.

Fabulous suit with great quality. Arrived quickly after purchase just had to take in for hemming of pants as they came not hemmed tailor was surprised we paid so little for such a nice suit.

This was my first internet purchase of anything ever, and what a great experience. The suit came quickly and the coat was ready to wear out of the box. It is a sharp suit that fits perfect and I would recommend it to anyone. I will be shopping with overstock again real soon.

My sons wore these suits to prom and got so many compliments. Very lightweight and comfortable. Pants arrived needing to be hemmed which was actually nice, because I was able to hem them to the perfect length without having to tear out any stitching. Just cut off excess length and hem. If you don't sew, a tailor would not charge much to hem them.

The suit is a fairly nice looking suit. It was bought for uniform purposes - purchased 20 or so. However, the pants waist size are not in line with the jacket. The pants come almost 2 sizes bigger than what they would if you bought a different suit. The pant legs themselves are HUGE...you could say "roomy", but in all of the suits, the waists and legs had to be altered to fit properly. I put that I would recommend this product - I would just make the purchaser aware of the pants.

Ordered two of JB's suits for my husband based on his design reputation and past experience with the brand. (still was a bit nervous about it - ordering a suit on line? Nuts). Great suits - fit true to size and pants will need to be tailored (just like all good suits) with plenty of material for almost ANY height man. 44L fit like a true 44L. Found a small amount of puckering on both suits' shoulders (where the sleeves are attached to the torso) - barely noticeable and easily pressed out. Amazing deal. Period. Jeffrey Banks' claim has always been that he can deliver a great suit which is comparable to those 2-3 times original retail. Overstock's price is a joke - amazing fabric. Hope to see more styles.

I wear a 44-46 depending on the suit and the 46r fits perfect, so I would say the jacket does not run big. The pants of course are always too big but thats the same with any suit. Great suit, I would have paid $300 for this elsewhere. I will be buying suits from O in the future.

The suit has a very clean look, light weight for summer wear. True to fit for size for the jacket the pants waist said 39 but fits like 36. I was very impressed with the price for the quality.

Nice product ---good workmanship--nicely lined--good price---however the pants needed some tailoring.

Still a little uncomfortable with buying suits this way, but the suit is very nice and I saved a killing over going to a store. I will probably purchase from overstock again.

The suit made me look and feel like a millionaire, even though I'm not. Everybody at work loved it, even the guys at work wanted to know where I purchased the suit from, I told them overstock.com.
