GORGEOUS, BUT...
Beautiful slip over the head dress. Drapes beautifully. Gorgeous beading- but beware the beading adds lots of weight to this dress. It is indeed a baby doll length. I am only 5'4", and the hemline is just to my kneecaps. Taller than me, and you will have a mini-skirt! BUT, just by trying on the dress for five minutes, THE UPPER INSIDES of my arms were all pink and scratched. HOW I could spend an evening of cocktails, dinner and dancing in this dress, I don't know. WHAT TO DO? RETURN IT? KEEP my arms akimbo all night? Put a wrap over the shoulders and wrap it around the bodice where the beads come into the contact with the arms????

J Kara Women's Beaded Babydoll Cocktail Dress
Several of the beads were already falling off when I received this item. The indicated size (10) did not match the actual size (more like a 12 or 14). The top, because it was so much larger than it was supposed to be, hung down awkwardly and was quite heavy. I would not recommend buying a beaded item without being able to try it on first. I will not make this mistake again.

The hemline was not even. The right hem was not even and hung much lower than the rest of the dress. The left hem was fine. No way the dress could be worn as is!!

Beautiful Dress
Very happy with purchase overall. The underskirt of the dress is shorter than the chiffon overlay which was a negative for me but will deal with it. Otherwise a beautiful dress, ordered a size smaller because it ran large.

Matronly
The dress is beautiful both in picture and in person. It runs a bit big. It doesn't have a zipper to close it so you just slip it on. If you are busty like myself, then the smaller size won't get past but the bigger size is way too big and falls off the shoulder. Somehow because of the fit, how big it lies on the shoulders and how it doesn't cinch in at the waist, it looked very matronly once worn. I had to return it. If it was made with a zipper, a lot of these issues would be resolved. Too expensive for just ok.

Dress runs very large.
Dress was very high quality. However, if you order, order at least 1-2 sizes smaller than you would normally. Also, I'm Petite and this runs way too long. I was expecting it to be above the knee or at the knee and it came below the knee. Had to return.

Beautiful
I really liked this dress. It was cut nicely and had a wonderful flow when moving in it. I purchased it for a formal, Black and White event, which you could only wear black and white. This dress has silver beads. I did not notice them when I ordered it. I also, did not read the sizing information, so it was to big. Had I been able to use it for another occassion I would have exchanged it for the correct size.

Pretty but uncomfortable to wear
I think this dress is very pretty. The midriff falls a little low on a shorter woman (I'm 5'4 and the waist fell much lower than empire length. The biggest problem for me was the rubbing under the arms. The beading is beauttiful but you'll pay a price with skin irritation I think.
