Buy yourself a Spanx. This waist cincher is bulky, ill fitting, and designed more as a back brace than something you could wear under a nice top or dress. It could not be exchanged because it was considered underwear. I've never worn it, it was just to bulky and uncomfortable. The hooks are a pain and it shows thru your clothing. Not a good buy!

The corset is a very good quality. Thick enough to hold my baby fat during holiday season. I wear it during the day sometimes under t-shirts. Feels and looks good.

I was a little sceptical about this waist cincher, since I've spent alot of money on more expensive and better known brands, but this one works! I bought it to wear under my wedding gown and it took off inches! It made me about two sizes smaller in the waist and gave me that "curvy with a small waist" look. I even had people ask me if I'd lost weight! I weigh 142 pounds and ordered the small. It is really tight the first time you try it on, but it does stretch a little with wear. By the third time I tried it on, it was really comfortable. It doesn't bunch or fall down like others when you sit down. The material is thick enough to hold everything in, but not too thick that it looks bulky. And it's surprisingly a little breathable. I know, because I got married in 80 degree weather in Mexico. It's now staple in my wardrobe and I plan to buy another in a different color.

After reading other reviews, I thought this was the one. But after I wore it a few time, the fit was not comfortable at all. The pictures make it appear as though it is an all in one. When in fact it is just the waist area. I probably should have returned it but didnt since the material was good quality.

As other reviewers described, product is very tight. Struggled initially to get it on the first time, but afterwards it was stretched enough to put on easier. Cannot wear under jersey type fabrics because boning shows. Liked that it is long, covers entire torso.

What a mistake!! I am so disappointed! I don't think I was send the wrong product. The shape of the cincher is horrible. dow not have a straight line across but instead digs into your stomach. This is the first time I am disappointed with an overstock product, and the worst part it is not returnable. "(

I was not able to even try this on, the sizing was too small and I wear size 10 slacks, I bought a large size because it did say that they were sized small and it sure was, I just it away....

Nice smooth firm look under my wedding gown. Great control without excessive thghtness.

I have a cheaper version of this purchased from a department store like ***** or *****, so I purchased the same size Illusions Cincher. The Illusions product is by far and away a much better product to own! For one, it's longer, so I don't have an awkward gap above and below the cincher. Second, it has better support and controls much better, rather than just bending every which way to accommodate my flexes and bends. It does run a bit smaller than I expected. I ordered a medium and have a 30" waist and am 5'6".

This item is VERRRY tight - I bought the largest available size and it would barely fasten. I tried wearing it, but it was so uncomfortable, I just took it back off. I doubt that I will ever wear it, so it was just a waste of money.

These waist clinchers are absolutely wonderful. I wear a size 12, so I bought the large, and it worked great. I was so pleased that I ordered another, and plan to order some more. I love these waist clinchers. It gives me an hour glass shape--small waist with my wide hips. It is comfortable as well.

I have no idea if this item is comfortable or not I could not even get it on. It runs extremely small. I have some of the same time of items from Victoria Secret and was excited to find one that was similar, but the sizing is so unclear and ridiculously small.

I like this waistband cincher a lot. It is as comfortable as a cincher could be. However, I suggest that any buyer pay close attention to the size chart/reviews. I wear a size 7/8 and a Medium was a good fit. I could have gone smaller. This is a quality product and NOT cheaply made.

I'm a size 8, sometimes a 6 and ordered the medium. I can barely get this thing hooked up on the second row of hooks, so I think it runs a tad small. Once you get it on though, it's wonderful. It seems a little longer than others I've tried on and really provides a nice smooth look.

I liked it . It hold in your tummy pretty well. sizes are a little small so be advised

This garment is well made, BUT the sizing leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a small. I wear in the 6 ish range. Not usually above a 10 if the sizes run small. Anyhow this garment in no way would hook around my middle. I would say it lacked a good 4 inches of closing. Since I could not return it, I'm looking for some girdle type material to rip it apart and make it bigger. I have a boyish type figure and was hoping to give me a waist for some of my slim fitting dresses.

Compared to other waist shapers, this one is more hourglass shaped (less tube-like), which I like. It is also adjustable, with 2 rows of hooks. The fabric used seems substantial. Very nice!

Just what I needed, unfortunately :-) The garment is well-made, good-looking, of good quality materials, and comfortable...well as comfortable as a girdle-like thing can be.

Good quality but does run a little small. Comfortable to wear after the first few hours. It was really stiff when I first put in on even after washing it! Overall I have been satisfied! It fits great under my wedding dress!

This cincer definitely cinches your waist. I didn't give it the full 5 stars because it is very very tight. I could not wear it for a long period of time. The other good news is that it does not roll up. Overall, I recommend it, but caution if you can't stand anything tight around your waist.
