This coat fits well and the leather has a nice, soft texture -- not butter-supple but more of a dry, silky consistency. The cut looks flattering for a curvy figure, which is a feature not so easy to find in a coat. I'm between a Medium and a Large, and the Large size is just about right. I only wish this came in Petite sizes, since that's what I would order if the option were available. Right now I'm rolling the sleeves up a few inches and the bottom falls a little lower on my hip than it does for the model in the photo. Not too big of a deal, but I'd love to see this coat in a Petite.

• How did the color on site compare with the actual product? same

The leather is a bit shinier than I would have liked. I think that leather that is a 'matte' or 'flat' finish look like a higher quality product than one that is 'glossy' (which tends to look fake. This reflects the light more than my old one but I suppose this will wear-off with time. My biggest complaint is that the lining of the jacket is slightly larger than the jacket itself. This is particularly true of the left sleeve. The lining sticks out about 1/2 inch and drives me crazy. It is not straight-forward how to fix it and I really don't want to pay more to take it to a tailor.

• How accurate was the sizing? Sizing was accurate. I am 5'5, 120 lbs, medium bust and the medium fits well (maybe a little large at the waist, hips are ok)..

I had been looking for the perfect leather jacket and I believe I have found it. I especially like the mid-hip length and the sleeves are the perfect length. It is slightly fitted and tends to run small; I ordered the next size up and it looks great. Super soft leather eliminates the stiff feel that you get from other lesser quality leather coats.

My jacket arrived this morning and I couldn't be happier. I can see the quality without even touching it. It fits like a glove, accenting my shape very nicely. Most of the leather is double-stitched of the highest quality and it smells heavenly. The interior has been beautifully lined in black and the detail of that lining is superb. I cannot wait for the opportunity to wear this beautiful garment with my favorite pair of jeans and boots! I ordered my true size & I am not disappointed. I live in Florida & would probably never wear a bulky sweater underneath, so I ordered true to size. I am pleasantly shocked by the suggested retail of $$$ as well! This is a jacket that I will enjoy for many years.
