these are so comfortable and support my arches perfectly!i plan on using these as my winter dress boots, the rubber sole is great! and the suede upper is slouchy for a really cute look. they feel slightly snug but not too small, and they fit my wide calves perfectly due to stretchy cords on the buttons and extra fabric underneath. cant wait to test them out in the snow!

I like these boots a lot, but I was really disappointed that not even a month into having them, one of the elastic bands broke and a button fell off.

These boots are very comfy, no break in needed. Only issue I have with them is they bunch under your jeans because of the way they are made. Probably more suited to the stuffing pants inside them, but I personally don't like that look.

These boots are super comfortable. They don't slop on my heal. The fit is not too clunky for someone who is small. One reason I picked them is because of the bamboo inside. I have bamboo socks so I know they keep feet warm and dry. These boots are versatile-casual but with a little style. I can wear some pants outside and sometimes I tuck them in. Also can work with some skirts and dresses. Very good quality for the price. I have one other pair of Hush Puppies, and they are holding up very well and are my only shoes that don't give me blisters.

I was looking for some boots I could wear outside to work in that were comfortable. I fractured my knee and broke both bones in my leg last year. After 2 surgeries to repair the leg walking still isn't easy especially in the mountains where I live. I put memory foam inserts in the boots and they are extremely comfortable. These were the 4th pair of boots I tried and I can work and walk in them all day without the pain I had with the other boots. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and I would buy them again.

I absolutely love these boots. They're very comfortable and stylish. I've been getting more than a few compliments on them. I highly recommend them. I have larger calves, but at but not over-weight and these boots are just perfect for me.

I like the fit and they are lightweight boots but they look very rugged and worn. I actually thought that they were used shoes. There is no style with these boots. They have hold up in cold weather and wet weather for me.

Toggles a problem. My pair came with toggle attachment broken.

My boots arrived today. Its nice and stylish. I like the buttons on the side. There's no zipper, but the buttons hold the elastic on the side of the boots. I have a big calf and it fits perfectly. Its very comfortable. I love it. I agree with other reviewer that if you like to use a thicker socks buy a larger size. I love to use think socks especially in a boots, I'm 7.5 M, so its fits perfectly for me. I bought the hickory color and I love it. I'm thinking to buy the black also. I will recommend this boots to everyone.

I purchased these boots primariliy because of other reviewers' comments on calf size. I have large calves, and have never been able to wear boots more than a few inches above the ankle - as far as fit, this boot is great. The elastic allowed a nice fit around the calf, and the footbed felt quite comfortable. However, I am returning these boots based on color. Always a risk with monitors, I thought these looked 'brown' brown, particularly with the name 'hickory.' The smooth leather is really quite cinnamon, with a definite red cast. Otherwise, a very nice boot.

Ever since I saw this boot in the magazine "Body + Soul," I knew I had to have it, but couldn't cough up the $169 price tag. Nice to see it here on overstock! What a great boot! Looks cute worn with a skirt and boot socks, or worn over jeans/pants. Very comfortable, with sturdy construction. Fit is true to size, but you might want to order up a half size if you plan on wearing thicker socks. The only problem (which really is not one) is that the decorative rubber "tread" on top of the layer of woven hemp on the outer sole starts to peel off fairly quickly. This is purely cosmetic, and it just happens to be on the bottom of the shoe (which ultimately will get worn down anyway), so I don't view it as a big issue, and certainly not one that harms the integrity of the boot itself. Also, if you are looking for something with a tighter fit on the calf, this is not the boot for you. There is no zipper, but the buttons are on elastic and there is a leather gusset to pull on and pull off easily. In other words, the upper portion (calf area) stretches. I am fairly slender, and am not displeased with the way this looks even though it is loose in the calf area.

I love the stlye of these boots, and they look just like the picture. Two disappointing things- the suede is not very soft, and the boots are not warm. Otherwise I love them and decided to keep them.

These boots are awesome!. They fit great, are very comfortable and look stylish. I spotted them in Natural Health magazine over a year ago and fell in love, but they were too pricey for me. Overstock's price was half the original and very fair. I bought black, but may have to get the brown also.

I bought these for my daughter and she loves them. The winters can be pretty cold and so far she says her feet have stayed warm.

They run 1/2 to a full size small, but slipped on the heel.

I constantly get comments about how cute these boots are, and everyone asks where I bought them from. I almost didn't want to write this review because I wanted to keep these boots as a secret for myself so I can be the only one wearing such original footwear.

these were too clunky for me, the calf was too large. they were comfortable enough, i liked the hemp lining, but overall they were too expensive to justify being unattractive. they are going back.
