I just moved to New York and noticed that every other person on the street wears these when it rains. My first experience wearing them wasnt so great, because I didn't know what kind of socks I was supposed to wear with them and had a very hard time walking in them. My second time i wore thick socks that prevented my feet from slipping and loved it. They really are the best thing to put on on a rainy day walking around in the city. They did have that wax film on it, but they all come that way.I'm enjoying it and would recommend it to anybody that has to walk long miles in the rain in the city.

I do love the boots but I know I could have found cheaper boots. Unfortunately this was the ONLY boot that carried my size which is a 5. I have a problem finding anything in my size so I was very happy to find the boots, however I think the price could be cheaper.. I feel like I'm paying extra just because I don't have a common size.
