As a regular user of jeans I am very aware of the fact that in my forties I do not want to give my teenage daughters a real reason not to want to be seen in public with me!! The dark blue denim is not only popular this season, but is also slimming. I would have ordered a size up, but I can wear them comfortably without doing squats,stretches, and sprints like I am preparing for the Olympics. The snaps on the bottom are flattering and different than most other knee length shorts,capris, or any other stylish, casual jeans in my summer drawer or stores I have visited.I usually keep away from the decor on the back pockets, but I feel the snaps on the bottom make that insignificant. and very distinctive.I seem to get compliments and 'where did you find them often. These are a great buy. I love the darker jean wash and the overall fit was good. I'm a shorter women so they are just a little longer than I would like. Overall they are very comfortable and stylish. I am between an 8 and 9 so I ordered the 8's and they fit very well in the hips and that is what I love. I have a skinny waist and pronounced hips so it's hard to find jeans and shorts that fit the way I need them to. These are great for my style of body. I absolutly love them.
