I ordered this thinking it was an oversized scarf. When my wife opened it she thought it was a table cloth. That is until she wrapped it around her shoulders and let it fall down to her elbows.
She absolutly loved it. It was soft and warm, just perfect for cool/cold days in the office or out on the town.
This is an excellent piece for the price. Not as soft as I expected (so take that into account when oredering), but it is a beautiful Iris Blue and the size is amazing for the price. The shipping was very quick and arrived in gift presentation condition. Himalaya Trading Co. did a good job.
How often do you shop at Overstock.com? Few times a year
I bought this item for my mom as a Christmas present. The reviews were great, but then after I bought it, a couple of poor reviews came up. I was worried that perhaps the current ones were from a different lot or something. I am happy to say that my mom likes it a lot. Says the color is beautiful and it is very soft. The size is "very generous" in her words; which I think means it is a little bit big for a small lady like her. I think she can use it as a wrap or (probably more frequently) as a blanket on the bus or plane when we are travelling this summer.

First, this scarf appealed to me because of the vibrant color. Then, I received the product in the mail; it was not soft at all, it feels like rubbing your face into an sandy towel that you took to the beach. Thus, the quality is poor, if I wasn't that lazy then I would return it and get my money back. Right now it's sitting in my closet until I think of something better to do with it.
for the price and the materials (pashima/silk) this should have been much softer to the touch - instead it is a bit scratchy and had a bad odor as well (which did disappear after airing it out)
