This shawl was ordered to wear with a strapless, summer cocktail dress and was the only one I found that matched the color of that dress. It is light to medium weight (not a thick or heavy shawl), the same color as pictured, large, and drapes gracefully. The material and fringe are lovely. It did itch a bit. I am allergic to wool and thought I would be miserable in this shawl as it felt scratchy when I first tried it on but that irritating feeling seemed to subside more and more each time I tried on the shawl to decide whether or not to return it. I am very happy with this item and I'm keeping it.
