The pashmina is not soft and bleeds dye -- I can't wear it because it turns my skin and clothes black.

This is a beautiful pashmina, with very rich fabric. It works well as a temporary wrap or an all-day accessory. The only drawback I discovered was that the color tends to bleed, so avoid wearing it with light- colored fabrics.

The shawl is a very generous size and is well finished. It says dry clean on the label but I have cold hand-washed it with very little fading. Would certainly stand by this shawl.

Nothing is so classic as basic black, and this large, soft pashmina shawl is a classic. Warm enough to carry you between classes or between car and destination. Because it's flat and folds small, it travels perfectly, whether in a backpack, tote bag/med-lg purse, briefcase or standard luggage. Because of its generous size, it always fits - and I'm a large lady. "if the shoe fits, buy it in every color". This is a must for every wardrobe, every style! I've worn this shawl about a dozen times ,so far from evening to work and school, taken it everywhere, and even shared it when someone else was chilly and I was not. It is always a hit whether I wear it or someone else does!

This is a very nice pashmina, but it isn't as soft as I expected. A litttle scratchy to have at the face, in fact.

I bought this for my mother and she was thrilled; I have checked it out myself while visiting her and it is super soft and very good quality. She loves it.

Arrived quicker than I thought, ordered Monday and arrived Friday! The odor previous reviewers refer to is the lanolin in the wool and that will fade in time as I wear it and the fibers pick up my scent. Also as previously described it is a little scratchy as most wool products are but, you wont be disappointed if you know this before buying it, and it will soften in time. I love it, and can't wait to use it on my upcoming trip.

The pashmina was not so soft straight out of the package but after a few days the shawl softened a lot and has turned out to be a great addition to my wardrobe.

I like the shawl but I was disappointed by the thickness. It is not thick as I thought. The picture gives the effect that it is thick. The shawl has a smell, I did not find a way to get ride of it. For the price, I will still recommend the product.

I was very unhappy witht his product. Had it not ben a christmas gift with no time to return and exchange I would have retuned it. The material was scratchy, it had a very stange ODOR to it and it just did not look like I had imagined it to by the photo.

The black pashmina for some bizarre reason left a black stain on my wife's neck and white sweater (before washing). I felt really bad and hoped that it was just fine particles falling off, being that it was new. She was not happy about it.

I bought this shawl for my mom for christmas. The material is very soft and pretty, and I really do like it. Unfortunately, I thought it would be bigger, more like a wrap and its not that much bigger than a muffler/scarf. If you want to buy a really soft scarf, this would be it. Otherwise, its not big enough to wear as a wrap.

I was pleased overall. This garmet is not made to keep you warm if it is below 45-50 degrees and windy. Aside from that it is very elegant and soft.

The shawls were hard to find at my local stores. I bought 4 of them for gifts. They are soft and comfortable to wear. The fabric weight will be good for both winter and summer.

pashmina and silk, you would think a product made with these 2 materials would feel wonderful against your skin. the shawl is feels pretty scratchy. i probably should have sent it back.

Very nice shawl, I', thinking about buying more in different colors.

I bought this shawl to take to Europe and wanted something warm enough but thin enough for my suitcase. This shawl fits the bill. Also, I hate dry cleaning, so I test everything first by washing in my machine on cold/delicate and it came out beautifully. It isn't soft like silk, but takes more after the pashmina wool in texture.
