It's a great value - very large. The color is more toward the pink/orange end of the spectrum as opposed to a "true red." It is a lovely rosy hue. I have several pashmina shawls, and this one is not as soft as my others. However, I paid from $200 up for the others, so I guess you get what you pay for. If there were a 'maybe' category for the recommendation, I would say 'maybe' I would recommend it to a friend.

Size, thickness, weight, warmness everything great, except softness. It is not soft as I expected...I will return it.

I bought several of the Himalaya pashminas and they all turned out to be great. The colors are very rich and bright and seem to not run at all.

I was little disappointed with the color. I expected the color to be a deeper red. The fabric is soft but feels a little itchy if you are sensitive to Wool. I think it could use a little more silk. Overall it's a good value for the price.
