This high-quality hand-finished woven shawl uses a two-ply yarn certified as 70-percent Pashmina/30-percent silk. The fabric is dyed using modern colorfast Swiss-made dyes. Generously sized, the shawl measures 36 inches wide by 80 inches long; each end is finished with fringe.
Pashmina is the Tibetan name for cashmere.Pashm comes from the underbelly fur of the mountain goats that live in the foothills of the Himalayas and the high Tibetan plateau. Among the several varieties and qualities of pashmina, the most popular is the blend of pashmina and silk. When these materials are properly combined they produce a luxurious, sophisticated shawl, which will last for years.

I liked this product mostly. The material is great, very smooth and silky. I just didn't realize how large this item is. It's really more of a blanket than a shawl. It's good for bringing on car trips to bundle up with but I find it too bulky to wear to work, which is why I bought it.

The shawl was beuatiful. However when you send a gift with overstock the note is not included in the package. The recipient of my gift had no idea who it was from.

Pretty, but not exactly the color shown. Mine was more barn red than pinkish raspberry. Different dye lot, I guess. Great size for the money, just not the color I was hoping for. Am proceeding w/return process now, but will probably keep the blue one I also ordered.

Lovely shawl, great color and nice weight. Do beware, however, if you are one of those folks who is sensitive to the fishy odor common to certain silk products.

Nice gift
I got this for a friend's birthday. Love the color and the weight. I just wish it were a bit shinier, maybe a bit more of a satiny finish. But it was good value, a good buy.

I like it a lot, but...
The color is quite a bit different than shown - more of a muted, pastel color. I was expecting something a bit more vibrant. The size is managable and I feel as though the asking price made it a terrific value. I'll certainly continue to be an 'O' customer.

great quality, color not as shown
This is truly a beautiful scarf and obviously very nice quality, but the color is really nothing like the picture. Its much darker and less bright; more like a true raspberry color. I would still recommend this item as long as you know that the scarf you receive will be much darker in color then the one shown.

I loved this shawl. The color was a bit different from what the picture shows, but anyway it is a great investment. You can update your look with only this piece. I have two one in color shell and this raspberry. I love it.
