Habitual Women's Urban Trouser Halcyon Maternity Jeans

Love the jeans. They do not look like maternity jeans. I first got them around 15 weeks and they seemed a bit big. The inside buttons/elastic helped with that. I did have to get them hemmed (I'm 5'6"). At 23 weeks, they are now getting tight (have gained 9 lbs) when sitting down because they cut into my growing belly. I wish they hit a little lower in the front. For me, these were a good transition pair of jeans to full panel maternity jeans.

When I purchased these they didn't have the warning that they run small, so I ordered my pre-pregnancy size and ended up having to return them (and pay for the return postage-- because I took too long). I did an internet search and found another site that sells the same jeans and they had better sizing instructions (after I had ordered and receive too small jeans). I'm just going to stick to buying pants I can try on for the remainder of my pregnancy... They seemed well made, but for the hassle I'll stick to locally available jeans for the short time I'll be in maternity!

First thing I did when I tried these on when they arrived was to call my friend who is pregnant and say "You HAVE to get these jeans!" These are great maternity jeans that don't look "maternity". I feel like my normal self again now that I can wear jeans to work again instead of my one pair of yoga pants that still fit at 17 weeks pregnant. :) The fabric is a bit stretchy, and the cut of the waist is perfect. I ordered a size 2 and am 5' 8" tall 135 lbs. pre-pregnancy, and the size 2 seems to be just about right for me (a little loose in the waist right now, but the button-cinching on the inside makes for a customizable fit that works well). I could totally dress these jeans up or just wear them to work (in the public school system), as the fabric is a great dark blue that is just the perfect shade in my opinion. LOVE THESE! The only drawback may be for someone who is short, you would definitely have to hem them as the inseam runs long. But that is a small price to pay for how great these are!

These jeans are a nice wash-- They can be work casually or even possibly to work. I ordered the wrong size at first. The XS are very small (I am usually an XS but these were very tight in the waist). They are also extremely long and unless you are super tall, they will probably need to be hemmed.
