I originally saw this bag (mind you, a MUCH more expensive vintage croc version) on one of the Olsen twins in a photo (again, not usually who I look to for style guidance, as I'm at least 10 years their senior, but hey, the bag looked amazing). I hunted around everywhere for the best buy on the bag - I live in a major metro, so I had a lot of places to check. Ultimately, I purchased from Overstock. When the box arrived, I had to sit down - mainly because my knees got weak thinking of how much I had just spent on a BLACK BAG (basic color, standard tote shape) ...but upon opening the box, I fell in love. The bag is CLASSIC and BEAUTIFUL. I imagine I'll own this bag forever and it will NEVER go out of style. The leather is supple, and will definitely look better with age, and the exterior is quite unusual for Fendi (not too many logos and such)... The buckles are kind of a silvery gold (light, light gold), if that makes sense. The handle is definitely not big enough to throw over your shoulder for anyone NOT the Olsen twins' size (read: featherweight with skinny arms)... and there is no larger strap, which is a bummer. I know Fendi does have a version that has a strap, but it's a few hundred dollars more...not necessary. The bag is big enough to fit a small laptop if you must carry one in your gorgeous bag :) and there is an inner pocket that is good for important things. The lining inside is nice and not distracting color-wise. There is no zipper, only a magnetized snap...so just be wary of people dipping into your bag. The size is PERFECT for a tote. Not too big (not carrying a suitcase on your arm), and not too small (fits everything you might possibly need). Great for travel, too.I definitely paused on the price several times -- and stared at it for a couple days to make sure I REALLY wanted to keep it, but I must say, if you can afford this bag ONCE in your life, it's a great, great investment piece. I am very happy with it! Highly recommend.
