Since I wanted this one to last a while, I bought this in the 18mo. size for my 20lb / 29" 7mo. old. It is big on her now, but since there is elastic around the chest portion of the dress, she can wear it now and I just criss-crossed the straps in the back (they are buttoned) to accommodate the extra length there. The overall length is a bit long right now too, but it just looks like it was meant to be that way. This dress is absolutely adorable, very cool in the summer heat, and the best part is that I think we will definitely get one more summer out of it for her, possibly two!
