The product description does not do it justice. The dress may be made of polyester but it looks and feels like much more expensive fabric. The fall is beautiful and lends a classically elegant shape to everyone who wears it. I would say that it works well even as an evening/dance dress during the spring and summer. I got the Turquois/Lime option and the colour is a little brighter than I expected but it still looks lovely.I would say that the dress runs true to size. I am a short, curvy person with a large bust, small waist, and wide-ish hips. I got a size 8 and it fits perfectly. People who are smaller on top might want to get a smaller size because the dress cinches in under your boobs and then has an A-line fall. Excellent for Ladies with large bottoms as well.
