I was looking for fisherman-style sandals, and these fit the bill to a T! They are nicely padded--not flat-soled cardboard, like another reviewer says--nice soft leather straps, and feel comfortable right out of the box. I bought half size smaller and they stay on my feet. no break-in period needed. I wear them all day long; only wish they came in a tan color.

I actually bought a second pair because I wore the first ones out. I would recommend buying a size smaller than you think you need, because the leather will stretch, and the heel strap hangs off the back once you've really broken them in.

Comfortable and pretty stylish without one of those super-flat particle board soles.This sole actually has a slight heel so it doesn't feel like you're walking on the ground. Slight padding, too. The heel strap isn't super tight (I bought my regular size), but it holds my heel fine as I walk.I have a really high arch, so I'm always wishing for more arch support. But pretty darn comfortable all in all. Bought the brown color and it's a great espresso brown. Bravo! :)
