The waist was a little bit big for my sun, but he's a little small.
My little guy loves these swim trunks. The material is very soft and the mesh liner is comfortable for him. He's been swimming in a chlorinated pool every day for the last four weeks, and I've washed them several times a week since then. They look like brand new every time I get them out of the wash.
