I've been using 1.25 "drugstore" reading glasses for years. So, I thought I'd give these Hot Optix a try as they looked good on the Overstock website. I'm wearing them now as I write. They're excellent basic nonprescription reading glasses, well constructed, durable and reasonably good looking. They're superior to the "drugstore" reading glasses because they are strong, yet lightweight, a great color (a very subtle brown tortoiseshell frame with a narrow black framing on the top 1/3 of the lenses and bridge). So, if you're sick of thelimited variety of reading glasses at your local drugstore, pick up a pair of these. They cost the same or less and look great.

I have a wide head and my nose is a tad wider at the bridge than I started with because I broke the bridge on a cedar chest in our bedroom. My advice: don't do that! I tried another pair of reading sunglasses that I ordered from one of my regular online go to shopping places. Did not read the fine print. They are bifocals. Bifocals are ok for driving but really irritating when you are only reading. So I did a Google shopping search and it told me Overstock had what I wanted. I ordered these and they are nearly perfect for me. They are well made. They come with a nice case. They ...
