Compare: I must not have read the description thoroughly, but this purse arrived and was much smaller than I expected. I ordered the green color and it matches the picture perfectly. I think the description called it blue, but it's definitely a seafoam green color. The faux leather is pebbled so it actually looks like real leather.
The purse was perfect for the prom. We were very happy with the purchase. Fortuantely, even thohgt the color was off it still worked.
This bag looks even nicer in person. I love the added chain strap for over-the-shoulder wear. Roomy enough for your necessary items.
This bag is unusual and pretty. However, the dark handles tone down the formal dress I would use it with. The little tiles of mother of pearl aren't stiched togher/on very well. One thread per each corner of tile. I don't expect this bag to wear well since the mother of pearl tiles will eventually cut through the thread they are sewn together with. Even without use, the age alone will deteriorate the thread. In case you can't notice it well in the photos, the material on eather side of the bag are a silver/gray metalic material.
This is a beautiful purse and a good size but I used it one evening and the lining tore apart. Also, the chain caught in my hair over and over and it was difficult to remove without tearing my hair out. I would like to see a better chain link and better lining and it would be perfect!
