These jeans fit amazingly well. Keep in mind that even though the sizes are given as waist measurements, these jeans sit on the hips. I bought the 28" waist which fits my 34" hips perfectly. The fabric has a slight stretch to it and is a nice weight, not thick but not super thin either. The art on the thigh is embroidered, so even if you were to loose a few stones over the years it wouldn't ruin the design. I've had maybe two stones come off that I've noticed, but that is to be expected since they just glue them on these days.
