This is a good bargain. I have monkey-like feet--therefore, at the heels these are a little loose--a common problem for me, but I am going to put gel heel protecters in them and/or wear sox. What I"m saying is I am not sure if the misfit is my problem alone or if the shoe is a little off on size. I bought another pair --same brand, different style, same size, and those were a little too narrow right across the toes. Bought a stretcher for those. So same size, same brand, one too big, one too little. I run into this problem no matter where I buy--I don't think there is really good standardization of sizes anywhere.
