I love these shoes, which are well-priced, well-made and very sturdy. They run a bit large; I had to poke a couple new holes in both the heelstrap and the strap across the instep, and the shoe "bed" is probably about an inch longer than I really need it to be. But the shoes are still comfortable (very comfortable) and they look great. The leather is soft and pliable, and I can walk around in the shoes for hours with no discomfort; that's my favorite thing about them. One more caveat: These shoes can make driving difficult. The soles are thick (the cushioning is one of the things that make them so comfortable), and if you drive a car with a standard transmission they can get hung up on the pedals. If you prepare for that (or wear other shoes when you're driving), they're comfortable, sturdy and a great buy.

I needed more support for a hurt foot and I thought that sandals were out for the summer, but the heavy sole of this shoe was just what I needed. They are comfortable . I walked miles in the city and my feet were not bothered.

I love them! They are awesome! A little wide and I have wide feet. I would not recommend to someone with thin feet!

I love these sandals but I think they run a bit large. Also the back strap has elastic so it gives a bit. My foot isn't narrow but it doesn't have much meat on the bones so it tends to move around. The leather is soft and the sole is cushiony.
