Arrived today and I am quite pleased with them. The shoes feel soooo good, and I love the thickness of the soles. Fit much better than my Converse Chucks which pinched my toes. I ordered a UK size 4 (usually wear a women's 6 1/2- 7), but I have had Docs in the past so knew what I was getting in regards to size. If you haven't worn Docs before I would advise going to the mall to try a style on to gauge your size. What I love most is that my toes aren't being bunched up, squeezed, or smushed. My feet are normal sized, not wide, and I will definately be getting this style in another color. I can't get over how great they feel. Kudos to Overstock once again for speedy shipping. Took 3 days.
I typically wear a size 7B. These shoes are wide like a man's and about an inch too long. Although a nice enough looking shoe, it looks clumsy on a woman.
bought a size 6 and they fit like a 6 1/2. IF it weren't for the sizing I would have given them a perfect rating.
I bought these Dr. Martens for taking long walks this summer, so far I have had them on everytime I go out . They are great looking shoes and the comfort is pretty good. They are well made, the canvas and the sole are thicker than other shoes of this style. As far as fit goes, I would say they are roomy. I wear a size 8, I ordered a size 8, and they fit me just fine. " They are roomy in width, the length is fine. " Dr. Martens are probably like this because they don't have half sizes. I like the fact that I can wear heavy socks with them. You can't beat the price on these shoes. If you have been looking at them, I say go for it.
