DKNY Women's Wool Boucle Herringbone Coat

I would give this coat 5 stars if the pockets were real pockets. That is the only negative -- and I think I will take it to a tailor and get them converted to real pockets. It is very warm, but not bulky and unflattering. The shoulder pads are a little stiff, and the belt is a little high (but I do have a long torso... so it's probably more me than the coat), but it is a gorgeous coat. The collar is high and buttons closed against the wind (and Chicago is windy). I would definitely recommend it, especially at the sale price.

This coat was exactly what I was looking for. It is wool, yet lightweight. Perfect for those days when you need to keep warm but don't want to bundle up. The belt has a leather back on it. It is very classy and I receive compliments whenver I wear it. This was definitely worth the money. Although the product listing indicates the coat has a "herringbone" pattern, I think it is more of a tweed and gives off a charcoal gray appearance.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my sister and it arrived in 3 days! (mid December). It's beautiful and I was going to keep it if it didn't fit her.....it fit her. When I tried it on I thought maybe I could have gone one size up but then the whole coat would look way too big, so it's great for women who aren't very large on top. Also, it's not as thick as I thought but that turned out great because you can wear it with everything without feeling like a polar bear.

This coat is good value for money. It is warm enough for 0 degrees. It fits true to size but can be a little tight on the neck. The thing that I did not particularly like are the faux pockets. I think coats should have real pockets, especially winter coats.
