I love this coat. I tried 6 coats before I found this one. It is the only one that is actually made for a petite body. The rest of the coats were all too large/long in the shoulder area, which prevented my arms from moving. This coat is warm, soft and stylish. I have received a number of compliments while wearing it. I would recommend it to any petite woman out there.

It's warm, the material is smooth not itchy, nice color just like the picture. But I bought petite size because I'm a short 5'4" and the coat still hits me just below my calves so it looks better when I wear it with heels.

I got this coat in a size 12 to allow for bulky winter sweaters and it's still slightly snug (I'm a size 10) so it really is true-to-size. It's a perfect fit for my 5' 3" frame and hits my calves at just the right spot for skirts or dress pants.

I purchased this in a 6 Petite which is my usual size. It fits perfect, especially in the shoulder and arms, though a little loose in the hips but I like the A-line shape and wouldn't go smaller since it would then be snug in the chest. For reference, my measurements are 36-27-36 and I'm 5'3, 125-ish. I think the chest would strain over a heavy sweater but I generally don't wear heavy sweaters and I have other less dressy coats for informal attire. This coat hits me at mid-calf and I think it works great over a sweater dress and tall boots or a cocktail/evening evening dress. The material is soft and a good weight for cold weather.

I have to agree with the other viewer that the fit is fantastic. I ordered a 2 Petite and it fits me really well (5'4" 115lb)! The only problem I have with it is that when I put it on, it goes mid-calf. I was surprised at how long the coat was when it's from a Petite line. I almost wanted to return it, but instead, I went to a tailor to shorten the length to knee-length. At the original length, I would only wear it: 1) with a formal long dress/skirt under; 2) if I live in really cold/snowy areas that would make the nearly full body wrap necessary. Overall I'd say it's a great-looking coat though, very classy!

I was skeptical of ordering a coat online, but was very pleased with the fit (I'm quite small and often "petites" really are just shortened versions of regular sizes; this coat is fitted properly throughout. The fabric is very soft to the touch, and the garment is well tailored with fine details. A happy surprise!
