DKNY Women's Down Jacket

This coat is beautiful. The "fur" on the hood actually looks somewhat real and isn't overly done. I purchased this coat in the black color. The "stunning contrast lining" advertised was missing in my coat...the inside is black as well. I don't mind though, only I will be seeing the inside anyways. The zipper does feel cheap compared to some of my other coats; it is made of plastic and isn't metal, which tend to be sturdier in my experience. So far, I haven't had any problems with it. I love the many pockets as well; I always have my cell phone and my keys on me, and there's so many places to keep my things safe. I love that there's side pockets to slip your hands into when it is cold as well as the large ones on top of that. There are even pockets on the inside of the coat! Something else that's really outstanding about this coat is that if you want, you can really bundle yourself up. Outside of the zipper are snaps so that the zipper remains hidden, and they snap all the way up to the top. There are even two flaps that will snap around the neck/chin area to keep you extra warm and to keep the hood up. The hood in phenomenal, it is lined with velour (which is comfortable, although I don't know how well it will hold up if it gets wet - velour is not waterproof). But the hood is removable so you could wash it if that happens. The fur on the hood is also removable, but I like it so I'll keep it on. It has a double zipper, which is really neat. The best part about this coat is the price! I've been searching for a long down jacket with a hood that is warm for a while. I couldn't get a better deal than this. 60% down is fantastic. I was nervous about the sizing. I'm about 5'2" and 120-125 pounds with a large bust and small wait. I ordered an XS, and I'm glad I did. The small would have been too big. There isn't really any waist definition, but that's okay with me. All in all, you can't go wrong.

I just got my black coat today. The size was a large and it fit just the way I wanted.( I normally wear between a 10 and a 12.) I wanted room to wear layers (sweater or sweatshirt) underneath. There is room in the hips and the arms come past my wrists just enough so that when you lift your arms or move around they don't look short or feel exposed. Overall I am very happy, the jacket is warm, light, and totally protective from the elements. Its great to be able to remove the fur on the hood, or the whole hood if you want. the zipper is a two way zipper so you can feel comfortable no matter what. I was worried that the front pockets where you would put your hands would seem too small but they are just right- and not too low or high on the jacket. When you put up the hood it really feels like it won't just randomly fall down or blow off in the wind. The only thing like every other review said was the shape is a little straight not form fitted to the body. I do love how the length comes almost to my knees and I am 5'5- I have never had such a nice useful coat!!

I just received my DKNY Coat yesterday. Before I purchase the coat, I read the reviews and it was helpful therefore I ordered large and it's a true fit. When try on the coat it felt warm, cozy and comfortable. Not to mention I was pleased with prompt delivery. I'm looking forward to where it over the weekend. I would definitely recommend this coat.

I live in Colorado and really needed a warm winter jacket that also looks stylish and professional. My husband actually sent me a link to the longer version of this coat, but after reading all the other reviews, I decided on this version instead. And I'm so happy I did! This coat is perfect. First, it arrived exactly on time, just a few days after I ordered it. When I tried it on it fit perfectly - sleeves, length and all. I am about 5'4" and about 135 pounds, and I ordered this in a small. Great fit. There isn't a LOT of room for bulky sweaters underneath, but honestly, I don't think they'll be necessary. The coat is warm on its own. The lining feels luxurious to me, it's well-put together, and has pockets in the perfect place for me to slip my hands into! (A little thing, I know, but it's the little things, right?) The double-zipper at first made me nervous, but it's actually easier than the one on my North Face shell - and seems sturdy. I love the hood - fleece-lined and soo warm. This coat also can button (well, snap) up around your neck to keep out all those drafts! It's also long enough to cover my rear, but not so long that it's awkward getting into the car. Plus the double zipper helps with that. So far the coat's been very warm, and I've worn it through one snowstorm here. I felt toasty as I was scraping 8 inches of snow off my car at 4:00 am. Lastly, the coat looks great. It's a little shinier than the picture indicates, but it's not really shiny like some of the puffy coats are. It still seems more matte than shiny to me, but just so you know that was a little difference. I get a LOT of compliments on the coat. I'm so happy with it, and you will probably love it too!
