This dress is very cute and it will make a good summer dress because it is soooo light weight. The quality of the dress is not that great. You get what you pay for. It is a very thin cotton... you certainly need a slip with this dress, and the seeming looks and feels like it might not hold up. This dress is a little big. I'm 5' 8" and a medium and this dress is a little roomy, not so much though that I would go to a small, it just has some extra room in the waist and hips. The plus side with the fit being a little roomy is that you can wear this dress even if you have a chest. I usually have trouble with empire-waist dresses because my chest doesn't fit in them. This dress has some room and you can cinch up the waist with the tie so that it doesn't look like a sack. Over-all, I do like this dress, I will keep it and probably wear it a lot this summer. The length makes it ok to wear with jeans too, so that's fun.

Very comfortable for the warmer months, and cute design; received compliments, however, since I am more petite, I need a cami or tanktop underneath as the v-neckline is very low. The tie in back does not help to cinch it tighter around my smaller frame. Would not have purchased if it had not been on sale; would recommend to a friend who would fit into it better than I. May actually give it to a friend.

the small fits a little looser than i would like but not too bad, normally i wear a small fine. im short (5'1") so it hit me just above the knee and the top is just a bit to long, ill have to shorten it otherwise when i lean forward the extra fabric falls down and hello says the bra.

I really like this dress, my only problem is - it's too short!!! I'm not one for stretch shorts underneath - so i'm disappointed...although it is really pretty, i'll have to return it....

This dress looks nothing like it looked online and it feels like paper.

i am a 5 foot 6 inch tall, 34D, 29 inch waist, size 9 bottom. i ordered the large which was too tight on my chest even with a racing bathing suit or a really tight sports bra. the tie in the back was too high to flatter my smaller waist and my chest hits between where the print meets the empire "waist" band. i tried tieing it in the front, but it looked equally bad. despite my dissatisfaction with the fit, my husband wanted me to bring it on our honeymoon in maui because of the short length and lightness of the material. the first and only time I wore it, the seam at the chest unravelled. i will be returning this item.

Sizing: This dress runs a bit big. I ordered a medium... I am 5'3 with 34DD chest and it fit slightly big but looks very nice on. The length is perfect for someone my height, a good bit above the knees. (You may need a cream or orange cami underneath) Material: Light and thin cotton (perfect for summer) -may shrink if washed. I will totally wear this out for a BBQ, Happy Hour or a date!

I get compliments on this dress all of the time. It is great for the summer months and I really like the lightness of the fabric. If you are looking for a comfortable dress that you can wear with tights or not, this is it. I came back and bought the other colors in my size.

this dress is cute for someone but not I !!! it doesn't fit right to me i must just be long waisted or something but instead of a dress its more like a shirtdress--- a really short one at that. it wasn't very expensive and i may return it because i could never leave the house in this and I definately wouldn't

The dress fits nice - very flattering to someone who has hips. I was surprised that the dress had a lining, that makes it that much better. It will definitely be one that needs ironed after every wash.

I ordered this dress because I wanted a versatile piece that could be worn as a dress alone (great for summer casual), or with pair of pants underneath as a tunic (very boho). It's terrific, I've gotten many compliments on it, and my boyfriend loves it on me. I'm a size 2/4, and the size small fit me perfectly. Plus, the ties really help make the dress look fitted for you.
