I have finally accepted that I cannot do without at least two bags - my "purse" and another bag to carry documents and lunch, other things I might need. Well, my purse has always looked good, but not my extra bag (too informal). When I focused on the issue, I realized that I needed a bag just as nice as my purse - but larger. This is it - the front panel holds my digital camera, extra makeup, pens, extra reading glasses. The inside holds my folio and my lunch - all in a stylish way. Now I feel really "pulled together". Excellent value for an excellent look.

I need a bag that will hold all my stuff and then some for those long flights to New Zealand and Europe. This one is excellent. Hey! I can even get my mini laptop in the side pocket...or a couple of paperbacks! And the main compartment opens up fully so I can avoid losing things inside and access passports, travel documents, etc. quickly. I can't believe I found a bag of this quality this cheaply! Well worth the cost!

This is a great bag for me - material is very good, price was excellent, handles not too long (I'm short), excellent pocket spaces, secure zipper top, flat bottom keeps it standing up. Great product!

I've only had the purse a few weeks, so as far as peeling leather, I haven't seen this happen. But its a very nice bag, with TONS of room. my laptop even fits in it. I'm even leaning towards ordering another in a different color. Can't beat this deal for a leather tote/purse!

This is just too big to be used as a purse. It is lovely looking though and would be great on a plane or for traveling.

the description does not really carry the size of this bag. It is so large, i can carry a small binder of documents in it, plus all my usual purse items. It is bigger than i was expecting. It works well. I am just unsure as to how long the handles will hold up. i had my last purse for almost 4 years, and the straps are starting to break. i don't think this bag's straps will last that long. They don't look as sturdy and they are not as well connected to the bag.

I bought this over 5 years ago and used it for carrying a large soft cover book in the outside pocket. It was the perfect size pocket for that. I could get notebooks and folders inside, along with all the other essentials I needed.Sometimes when I wanted to go shopping, I would slip a small bag inside it and leave the tote in the vehicle while shopping. Very convenient. Roomy enough for overnight bag. It is not the soft fine Italian leather like my Perlina, but I thought this was a great bag for the price and purpose for which I got it. It is nice sturdy leather and I love the flat bottom. Without a notebook inside it did not stand up on its own. My only thoughts for improvement would be to make it with rolled short handles and a detachable wider cushioned strap instead of the longer handles, which are too long for my height, and structured enough to stand up on its own.Overall, great bag at a great price, nice looking, not a beauty queen, but a great workhorse.

Very satisfied with my purchase. Tote is well made and I like the appearance. Has lots of room inside and on both sides outside to get all your items organized. Well worth the purchase price in my opinion.

This bag is extremely versatile and practical!...Decent leather and well thought out design (better than most designer totes in layout). Plain and simple a great everyday tote for travel, work or whatever!

When I opened the box, the first thing I noticed is that the leather did not feel very good. The first day I used this bag, the leather began to chip off. After about a month of use, the handles lost most of the black, and there is assorted chipping all over the bag. This bag was to replace one I bought 5 years ago at Overstock that looked the same but was durable and of better leather. Do not buy this bag.

As another reviewer stated, the leather color peels. I bought the brown color - and perhaps it was a "bad batch", and for the price I am not going to gripe or try to return.It's too bad because otherwise the product has a great design.As always great service and delivery - but Overstock may want to look into this problem?

I purchased this bag for interviews, I love the pockets and room, but oooh the peeling of the color is driving me crazy! I would say buy it if you'll be using it as an errand bag, it's a pretty good purchase but otherwise.. you will regret!

The bag is a nice size. Actually a little bigger than I thought. My computer and files fit in great. I don't feel like I am carrying a brief case into restaurants and a small wallet fits nicely in side pocket. Great for the value. I have been using mine everyday since I got it and its holding up great!

It really met all my expectations and then some. Looks professional, but is versatile enough to use for anything. I wear many hats so very simple to change contents and go to next commitment.
